Obama to let Russia inspect American Nuke sites

Who, that grew up during the cold war, would ever think of such a time when the Soviet Union would be inspecting the U.S.’s nuclear facilities? Scary ain’t it?

In a somewhat rare show of media isolation, Fox News appears to be the only news service covering this Dana Lewis and AP contributed story (by way of google search).

via Drudge-FoxNews:

Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible.

“We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered,” she said, calling missile defense “another area for deep cooperation between our countries.”

On another critical issue, Lavrov declared that it would be counterproductive to threaten Iran with more sanctions over its nuclear program — as he resisted efforts by Clinton to win agreement for tougher measures should Iran fail to prove its program is peaceful.

This may be a prelude to a joint U.S. / Russian Iran inspection.

President Obama Reacts to N. Korean Nuke Test

PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 25, 2009/Diverse News/- President Obama made it clear that the U.S. and the international community condemns and will take action on North Korea’s violation of laws and commitments. This could certainly mean a variety of things such as (more) sanctions and perhaps even a unified blockade of the communist state which is led by Kim Jong Il.
The Communist leader appears to be doing these types of things to show power to either make others fear him or respect him. All this while the vast majority of his people live in dreaded conditions and famine.

With this speculative blockade coming up, it will no doubt leave into skirmishes, further violations and eventually, North Korea’s demise.

All this because of one man’s super ego to control, which has brought anything but respect to him, now leaves him in fear of being overthrown, as will most likely be the case.
